What kind of information are you collecting, and how are you collecting it?
TEFL Tech's webpages, resources and searches do not require, or collect, any personally identifying information. TEFL Tech does collect a limited amount of non-personally identifying information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your query, and your country of origin. This is collected only for generating statistical usage data, which we then use to improve the quality and relevance of our products and services.
What information do you collect when I register for something?
TEFL Tech offers access to certain services which require registration. As part of this process, we collect personally identifying information about you such as your name, location, contact details, and information relating to your profession. This information is not made publicly available on the TEFL Tech website.
What information do you collect when I purchase something?
TEFL Tech uses a third party payment processor, Worldpay, to receive funds in exchange for access to certain of our services. If you are purchasing access to any of the services offered by TEFL Tech, our third party payment processor will need to know your name, email address, mailing address, credit card number, and expiration date. Will you disclose the information you collect to outside third parties?
We regard your privacy as the highest priority and so the information you give to TEFL Tech will never be shared with any third parties without your consent. The information we collect about you when you register for our services is used solely for internal purposes to help us provide you with the best service possible.
What else should I know about my privacy when online?
The TEFL Tech website contains many hyperlinks to third party websites. TEFL Tech is not responsible for the privacy practices of these websites. It is possible that these sites may collect information from you, both personally and non-personally identifying. Please be aware that if you post personal information online, such as your name and email address, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.
